With one week remaining in the regular season, the top seeds across three Premier titles have secured their postseason qualification, leaving a narrow field of teams to contest the final playoff spots.
The regular season determines the eight programs in each title that will advance to the C3 Carolina Esports Festival. The live finals run November 19 to 22 at USC Upstate in Spartanburg, S.C..
Overwatch
UNCA Esports and UNCW Esports share the top of the Overwatch standings, each holding a 6-0 record and a plus-18 game differential. ECU Esports follows in third place at 5-0.
While the top half of the bracket is settled, the cutoff line will be decided this week. UNCW Esports Gold currently holds the eighth and final qualification spot with a 1-4 record. They sit just ahead of ninth-place Clemson Esports Purple at 1-5 and tenth-place Wake Tech Esports at 1-4, meaning the final seed will depend on Week 7 results and map differentials.
Valorant
In Valorant, UNCW Esports holds outright possession of first place with a 6-0 record and a plus-11 game differential. Niner Esports White and Lander Esports sit one match behind at 5-1.
The eighth playoff spot currently belongs to USC Upstate Esports at 2-4. They hold a slight advantage over ninth-place Clemson Esports, which enters the final week of place at 1-4 and remains mathematically eligible to overtake USC Upstate for the final spot to Spartanburg.
Rocket League
Niner Esports and Gamecock Esports lead the Rocket League standings, both entering the final week with spotless 5-0 records. Niner Esports holds the current edge in seeding with a plus-20 game differential, compared to a plus-16 differential for Gamecock Esports.
The cutoff for the live finals remains closely contested. Elon Esports and Clemson Esports occupy the seventh and eighth seeds, both holding 2-3 records. Ninth-place UNCW Esports and tenth-place Aggie Esports, both at 2-4, remain within reach of the threshold to qualify, leaving the bottom of the playoff bracket heavily contested heading in to the final week of league play.
Looking Ahead
The regular season concludes this week, finalizing the official playoff seeding and the 24 total programs that will advance to the live championship. The Carolina Esports Festival will open on November 19th at the University Readiness Center on the campus of USC Upstate, transitioning the league's top competitors from online play to a live arena. The event will conclude on November 22nd, where the fall season champions will be crowned.
